Measuring device
PRETEC has developped a measuring device which is able to measure turned parts in a few seconds. Length, inside- and outside Ø are measured static or dynamic. The workpiece has to be set into the device by hand. Move the slide in measuring position and the following functions, workpiece clamping and measuring probes in position, are active. The workpiece can now be rotated by turning a hand wheel. Several values are now measured without any difficulties.

Measuring device for connecting rod
Measurement before manufacturing
PRETEC has developed a measuring device, which is used to measure connecting rods before they are in manufacturing process. This allows to separate the pieces which are out of tolerance and would cause undesirable costs. Inside and outside diameters as well as several points on the connecting rods are measured by PRETEC probes. This determines if the part is suitable for further processing.

Air ring with guiding supports
Air-electronic measuring instruments from PRETEC can easily be used to solve individual measurement problems, i. e. our standard air ring gages are used together with guiding supports for a fast and simple measurement of cylindrical parts.

Checking device for runout with special equipment
This checking device has based on PRETEC standard components and has been specially modified to measure the runout of the front surface of small pieces. The friction wheel is used to rotate the work-piece. The probe with adjustable measuring force will be placed in optimum position to get a reliable measuring result. Duration of measurement and stabilization time can easily be adjusted by 2 potentiometers. Other applications on request.

Pneumatic measurement of the distance between the axes
With this instrument, the distance between two axes can be measured both simply and quickly. Not only can measuring plugs be exchanged according to the required diameter, but the distance of the axes as well as the vertical position of the measuring plugs can also be adjusted. A setting master or master piece with accurately grinded axes is required to set up the gaging fixture. The gaging fixture is now ready to take measurements.

Special gaging fixtures for injection moulded parts
Injection moulded parts can be manufactured rapidly and at low cost. Measuring such parts, however, can be difficult. Suitable instruments are not available and reference surface points on the part to be measured are generally very small or nonexistent. PRETEC has designed the required gaging fixture for serveral of these injection moulded parts which allows efficient measurement of serveral measuring areas. When loading the part(s), make sure that these are securely placed and can be clamped without becoming distorted. The shape or form of the part often requires special measuring tips to achieve a consistent measuring result.

Fully automatic measuring and sorting machine for shaft with Ø 2.7 and length 50 mm. The measuring of the shaft is taken at one point with the tolerance of 14 µm and the parts are classified in 1 good and 1 reject class.
The capacity is about 800 pieces/hour, the autonomy of the machine is about 1.5 hours.

Measuring device for SPC control of synthetic part for electric tooth brush. On this device we measure at the same time one inside diameter and the width of a groove. The parts are positioned by hand. The feed motion of the measuring slide is with toggle lever. The retraction of the probes is automatically.
Readout and calculation of the measured values with software BRIDGE on a commercial PC.
